The Story
The Hearth Summit brought together more than 800 changemakers from around the world to explore wellbeing, social innovation and environmental sustainability through talks, workshops, performances and shared experiences.
Delivered across multiple venues in Ljubljana, the summit required a series of welcoming, adaptable spaces that encouraged collaboration, creativity and connection while reflecting the city's culture and the event's commitment to sustainability.
The Challenge
The summit took place across three unique venues, each with its own character, layout and operational requirements. The event programme included keynote sessions, workshops, performances, networking and hospitality, all of which needed to work seamlessly together.
Sustainability was central to the project, with every design decision needing to consider environmental impact, material reuse and responsible delivery, while creating engaging spaces for an international audience.
The Solution
We designed and delivered a series of flexible event environments that responded to each venue while maintaining a consistent visitor experience across the summit.
Working closely with organisers, suppliers and venue teams, we developed layouts that supported the varied programme and encouraged collaboration, learning and meaningful conversation. Every space was carefully planned to balance functionality with comfort, ensuring delegates could move easily between sessions, workshops and social spaces.
Sustainability remained a priority throughout the project. Materials and furnishings were selected with reuse in mind, local suppliers were used wherever possible, and detailed planning ensured efficient installation and delivery across all venues.
The Outcome
The summit successfully welcomed more than 800 delegates, creating engaging environments that supported a diverse programme of talks, workshops, performances and networking opportunities.
The project was delivered smoothly across all venues, with positive feedback on both the visitor experience and the quality of the event environments. Following the summit, furniture was donated to local charities and materials were returned to suppliers for reuse, extending the project's positive impact beyond the event itself.
Impact
An international event that demonstrated how thoughtful design and sustainable delivery can create inspiring spaces for collaboration, learning and wellbeing.
By prioritising reuse, local sourcing and responsible delivery, the project left a lasting legacy for both the event and the wider community.
